Carrie Kennedy begins her fifth season with the Duhawks as an assistant coach.
Kennedy graduated from Wahlert High School in 1994 where she played basketball, volleyball, softball, & track & field. A native of Dubuque and a Loras College graduate ('98), Kennedy is excited to be a part of the program again.
"Choosing Loras is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is a wonderful community that I am proud to be a part of."
As a player, Kennedy was a two-time first team Iowa Conference selection. She led the league in scoring her senior year, is a member of Loras' 1,000 point club and currently sits 6th all-time in both scoring and rebounding at Loras. After graduating in 1998, she joined the staff as a graduate assistant. She coached the Duhawks until 2001 while earning her Master's of Arts degree.
Kennedy is married to another Loras college graduate, Jim ('97). They have three children.
